Clyde Austin "The Glide" Drexler (born June 22 1962 in New Orleans, Louisiana) is a previous NBA all-star guard.

He attended a University of Houston and was drafted 14th overall in the 1983 NBA Draft by the Portland Trail Blazers. He helped lead that team to the NBA Finals in 199& 1992. Inside 1992 he served for the U.S. Olympics basketball team, nicknamed The Dream Team, and won the gold ribbon in the run. In February 14, 1995, he was traded by the Sport jacket to the Houston Rockets, and immediately a Rockets, world health organization were struggling to regain a championship form it experienced a year sooner, turned around. Drexler helped a Rockets to wwithin a NBA title in 1995, and stayed by having the children for trine thomas more years. Drexler retired from either a NBA fallowing a 1997-'98 year sequentially to get head coach at his alma mater, a University of Houston, in which he number one gained fame swimming sustaining Hakeem Olajuwon, his future Rockets mate. Drexler's #22 jersey has been retired by each a Rockets & a Trail Blazers. He was enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame on September 10 2004. Exposure Credit: internuggler
